Into the Desert with Christ – 1st Sunday of Lent Reflection
The First Sunday of Lent invites us to walk with Jesus into the desert.
This is not a place of punishment.
It is a place of preparation.
Before beginning His public mission, Jesus enters the silence of the wilderness — led not by chance, but by the Spirit.

“Jesus, full of the Holy Spirit, returned from the Jordan
and was led by the Spirit into the desert for forty days,
to be tempted by the devil.”

Jesus does not run from the desert.
He is led into it.
