Lent as a Journey of Return to God<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Introduction<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Lent is not merely a season of sacrifice.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

It is a journey.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

A quiet, interior movement of the soul back to God.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In the busyness of life, hearts grow distant.
Not always through rebellion \u2014
but through distraction, wounds, fatigue, and silence.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Lent is truly a journey of return to God.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Lent is the Church\u2019s invitation:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This journey is deeply connected to the mystery of Christ\u2019s presence in the Eucharist, which we encounter through prayer and Eucharistic Adoration<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Goal of the Journey<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

The purpose of Lent is not sacrifice itself.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

It is transformation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Every small act of:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u2714 Forgiveness
\u2714 Charity
