A Deep Good Friday Meditation on the Final Journey of Christ

Introduction

The Way of the Cross Good Friday devotion is not meant to be understood from a distance.

It is meant to be walked.

The Way of the Cross is not simply a series of events—it is an invitation to step into the footsteps of Christ, to see through His eyes, to feel His wounds, and to discover a love that goes beyond human understanding.

“Surely he has borne our griefs and carried our sorrows.” (Isaiah 53:4, RSV-CE)

This is not just His journey.

👉 It is our journey with Him.

The Way of the Cross (Stations of the Cross) on Good Friday helps us enter deeply into Christ’s suffering and love.

This journey begins on Holy Thursday, where Jesus institutes the Eucharist and prepares for His sacrifice.
